Student Travel Grant
In order to enforce the exchange of
ideas between experienced researchers and students, NSS 2010 will
support highly motivated and ambitious students with travel grants
which partly or fully cover their travel expenses.
The grants will cover:
1. Up to 4 nights accommodation at
Rydges Melbourne Hotel (4.5 star).
2. Reimbursement for flights up to AUD$500 (based on the valid
receipts).
3. A certificate that will be awarded in the conference dinner.
*Please note that the travel grants do not cover registration.
The applicants should submit the
following materials to ieee.nss@gmail.com.
1. A paper title(s) accepted to NSS 2010.
2. A statement letter from the student, which include: (1) A brief
summary of research interests and accomplishments to date; students
should demonstrate a serious interest in networking, through their
coursework and projects. (2) A description of areas reflected in the
NSS 2010 program that would impact the student¡¯s research. (3) A
statement about why the conference attendance is important to the
student.
3. A supporting letter from the student's supervisor/advisor, which
include: (1) Confirmation that the student is in good academic
standing. (2) The suitability o the NSS 2010 program material to the
student¡¯s research area. (3) Ways this particular student would
benefit from attendance at the conference.

Award notification: July 9, 2010
Deadline to accept/decline the award: July 16, 2010

Do I need a visa to enter Australia?
Citizens of some countries are required to apply for a visa to
enter Australia. Please visit the
Australian Department of
Immigration and Citizenship for detailed visa information.

Can I get an official invitation
letter? Yes, we will mail or fax an official invitation letter
to registered authors upon a request. If you need the invitation
letter, please register first, and then email to the Conference
Secretariat at
gcahill@deakin.edu.au for your request including information
about your paper (which conference/workshop, paper id, authors,
title) and affiliation, postal address and fax number.
