Elisa Bertino is professor of at the Computer at the Department of Computer Sciences, Purdue University and Research Director of CERIAS.
Her main research interests cover many areas in the fields of information security and database systems. Her research combines both theoretical and practical aspects, addressing as well applications in a number of domains, such as medicine and humanities.
Professor Bertino is co-editor in chief of VLDB Journal and she is currently a memeber of the editorial boards of several international journals, including ACM Transactions on Information and System Security, IEEE Internet Computing, IEEE Security&Privacy, Acta Informatica.

keynote title:Bio-Cryptography: Is This Going to Be Big?
Jiankun Hu is full Professor and Research Director of Cyber Security Lab, School of Engineering and IT, University of New South Wales, Canberra, Australia. He has obtained his BE from Hunan University, China in 1983; PhD in Control Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 1993 and Masters by Research in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Monash University, Australia in 2000. He has worked in Ruhr University Germany on the prestigious German Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship 1995-1996; research fellow in Delft University of the Netherlands 1997-1998, and research fellow in Melbourne University, Australia 1998-1999.
Jiankun's main research interest is in the field of cyber security in particularly host-based intrusion detection and biometrics security where he has published many papers in high-quality conferences and journals including IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (PAMI). He has served in the editorial board of up to 7 international journals and served as Security Symposium Chair of IEEE flagship conferences of IEEE ICC and IEEE Globecom. He has obtained 7 ARC (Australian Research Council) Grants and is now serving at the prestigious Panel of Mathematics, Information and Computing Sciences (MIC), ARC ERA (The Excellence in Research for Australia) Evaluation Committee. Jiankun is the Invited expert of Australia Attorney-General’s Office assisting the draft of Australia National Identity Management Policy and he also provided advice for Singapore Government for Cyber Security Program under National Research Foundation Singapore.

keynote title:Camera-based Attacks on Android Phones
Today's smartphones are very powerful and are widely used. Android is the most popular mobile operating system and over 80% mobile phones use Android. Android security has been extensively studied by researchers. However, few works have studied mobile phone multimedia security. In this work, we focus on security issues related with mobile phone cameras. Specifically, we discover several new attacks that are based on phone cameras. We implement the attacks on real Android phones and demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the attacks. Furthermore, we propose a lightweight defense scheme that can effectively detect these attacks. This work has been published in the IEEE Communications Magazine in March 2014.
Dr. Xiaojiang Du is a tenured professor in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at Temple University, Philadelphia, USA. Dr. Du received his B.S. and M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 1996 and 1998, respectively. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland College Park in 2002 and 2003, respectively. His research interests are wireless networks, computer networks, security, cloud computing, and systems. He has published over 130 journal and conference papers in these areas. Dr. Du has been awarded more than 5 million US dollars research grants from the US National Science Foundation (NSF), Army Research Office, Air Force, NASA, the State of Pennsylvania, and Amazon. He serves on the editorial boards of four international journals. Dr. Du will serve as the lead Chair of the Communication and Information Security Symposium of the IEEE International Communication Conference (ICC) 2015, and a Co-Chair of Mobile and Wireless Networks Track of IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC) 2015. He is (was) a Technical Program Committee (TPC) member of several premier ACM/IEEE conferences such as INFOCOM (2007 - 2015), IM, NOMS, ICC, GLOBECOM, WCNC, BroadNet, and IPCCC. Dr. Du is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Life Member of ACM.
