NSS 2020 will be held at Deakin University Melbourne Burwood Campus. The Melbourne Burwood Campus is Deakin's thriving metropolitan campus, attracting about 17,000 undergraduate and postgraduate on-campus students. The campus is located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, about 45 minutes by tram from the Melbourne city centre. The campus is located in the overlap of zone 1 and zone 2 of Melbourne's tram network. The Melbourne Burwood Campus is noted for its excellent learning facilities and its innovative architecture. The campus boasts open and inviting spaces for socialising and studying, spacious new buildings and many wireless locations. The Central Precinct is a 'student hub', designed to be multi-functional and flexible in a way that allows Deakin to meet student needs and provide opportunities for engagement with the local community. The redevelopment of the campus has included the creation of two state-of-the-art buildings on the Elgar Road side of the campus in which the business activities of the Faculty of Business and Law and the international activities of the University are located.
