Workshops The 1st International Workshop on Cognitive Distributed Computing and Networking (CDCN2012) ICA3PP workshops are an important part of the ICA3PP family of activities. The workshops provide the ICA3PP community an opportunity to explore those special topics in the related areas related to the main conference ICA3PP and the goal of the workshops is to coherently present works that are more preliminary with cutting-edge topics or more practical contents than the more mature research presented in the main symposium. The workshops also broaden the contents of the scopes by extending the topics of interest beyond those of the main conference. Each workshop has its own requirements and schedule for submissions and all are linked from main conference. The paper quality for the ICA3PP workshops should have the high quality required by the main conference. Proceedings of the workshops are published following the same format and process as the main conference. Note that most workshops have a due date for submissions different from that the author notification date for regular conference papers. [Call for workshop proposals] The organizers and chairs of the workshop shall have responsibility of the call for papers, forming program committee, review and selection of papers as well as planning the workshop program. The registration fee for workshops will be determined by the conference (not the workshop itself). The fees will be paid to the conference, and the conference will provide workshop facilities including the working notes printing, the meeting room, coffee break, lunch, proceedings and etc. The proceedings of the ICA3PP-12 workshops will be published by Springer LNCS series (Indexed by EI). Prospective workshop organizers should send a proposal containing the following information to ICA3PP-12 Workshop Chair.
Approved workshops should strictly follow the important dates, particularly the paper status notification and camera-ready dates. The submission deadline could be later than that of the main conference. But a workshop should have sufficient time, say 5-7 weeks, for generating peer reviews. Generally, each paper should receive 3 peer reviews. We look forward to your stimulating proposals and contributions to ICA3PP-12 workshops. A workshop proposal should be submitted to workshops co-chairs via email. (Xu.Huang@canberra.edu.au; csbxiao@comp.polyu.edu.hk) |
